Winter Meal Plans
Winter Dining at Brown
Fall 2025 meal plans expire when final exams conclude on Sunday, December 21st.
Dining operations will be limited during Winter Break/Session until Spring move-in. Please see the schedule below for our Winter operational hours.
Winter Operational Hours
Please note, all Dining facilities will be CLOSED Monday, December 22nd to prepare for Winter service. Breakfast/Lunch bags will be available for pick up on Sunday, December 21st in the Ivy Room from 7:30am to 6:00pm for students who will need meal support on Monday. If you have special dietary needs for your bagged meal, please reach out to dining_services@brown.edu for assistance.
The Ivy Room will be open daily during Winter Break 10am-6:30pm from 12/23/2025 to 1/3/2026. Accepted payment methods include meal credits, guest meals, flex points, Bear Bucks, cash, and debit/credit cards.
Sharpe Refectory will open daily 10am-6:30pm from 1/4/2026 to 1/6/2026 and resume normal operations 7:30am-7:30pm starting on 1/7/2026. Accepted payment methods include meal credits, guest meals, flex points, Bear Bucks, cash, and debit/credit cards.
The Blue Room will open and resume normal operations 8:00am-3pm Mon-Fri on 1/6/2026. Accepted payment methods include flex points, Bear Bucks, cash, and debit/credit cards.
All other Dining locations will resume normal operations on 1/18/2026 for the Spring semester.
Winter 2025 Meal Plans
Winter meal plans will be available for purchase beginning Monday, November 24th. Add a Winter Meal Plan by logging into mycard.brown.edu. Please note: Financial Aid awards are for the Winter Session meal plan.
If you are approved for financial aid for Winter Session, you still will need to purchase a meal plan through the meal plan portal. A meal plan will not be automatically assigned to you!
Winter meal plans cannot be cancelled after purchase.
