EARTH WEEK DAY 3

Happy Earth Week, Brunonians! Brown Dining is celebrating Earth Week by highlighting locally sourced food and RI-based businesses in our dishes throughout the week.

Come join Food Sourcing Interns, Addy and Juliana, with weighing the waste! It will take place in Sharpe Refectory’s MDR from 11 am to 2 pm! Did you know that the average college student produces 142 lbs of food waste per year?! During the weighing, you will get better insight on how much waste is produced, how to cut back on waste, and anything else in between!

The Action Station in Sharpe’s MDR will be featuring a Zoodle Saute Station for lunch and dinner. Yes, you guessed it! Zoodles are zucchini noodles! Pile your dish high with additional veggies such as; garbanzo beans, peppers, tomatoes, peas, and more!
