Craveable Kale Chips

Get your crunch and nutrients too with this versatile snack that is as easy on the environment as it is good for your well-being.

Serves 4


  • 1 bunch curly or Lacinato (dino) kale
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt*


  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Remove the thick stems of the kale from the leaves and chop leaves into pieces about 1-2 square inches. Wash and dry kale very thoroughly and then toss with olive oil and sea salt.
  3. Bake until edges are browned, but not burned, about 7 minutes on each side.

*In addition to or in place of salt, other flavorful ingredients may be added such as paprika, cumin, turmeric, nutritional yeast, black pepper, or cayenne.
