Food Recovery Network
A nationally recognized student group, the Food Recovery Network at Brown is a network of Brown students who volunteer to recover surplus food from campus dining halls and events and donate it to Hungry Rhode Islanders.
Sustainable Food Initiative (SUFI)
The Brown Sustainable Food Initiative strives to improve, promote, and contribute food policy, advance food security, and land use initiatives, address food distribution and waste issues, as well as food justice and community engagement. SuFI supports sustainable-food related projects, spreads awareness about food system sustainability, and provides a space for people to connect and talk about sustainable food. Green Event
Green Event is a student-driven initiative to promote and facilitate sustainable event planning at Brown University. Green Event is supported by the Office of Sustainability and Resiliency in the Department of Facilities Management.
